Final chapter of smashing bugs through Alaska & Canada

Hi again, Ya Jr. (coastaltractor) it is good that I can run faster than Marilee. I got a chuckle, but somehow Marilee didn't see the humor-go figure. Had another great riding day today (Sabbath 6/27). Marilee says she wants to do it again next year. I believe I'm in trouble. We will pass the 5000 mile mark on the odometer about halfway home tomorrow (had 333 miles on the clock when left Lewiston). We've pretty well burned through the rear knobby and about a third through the rear dual sport tire. Fronts still look pretty good. Managed to keep rubber side down throughout the trip except for tip-over when stopped in Ilwaco to get the condo keys. I attribute the lack of crashes to our guardian angels working way over time. Thanks again for your prayers. Bike has worked flawlessly thanks to the great crew at Mac's Cycle in Clarkston. Now to get back to work so I can rest up from our vacation. Tammy and Bill, we thought of you when we ate lunch at the Lake View Lounge in the Chateau Lake Louise today. They gave us a beautiful table right by the window looking out at the lake. I think they looked at us in our motorcycle outfits and took pitty on us figuring we'd probably never eat at such a nice place again. It was 40 years ago this month when we came through Lake Louise on our honeymoon on the way to Banff. Pictures are of Jasper area, Lake Louise, and near Fairmont Hot Springs.
